I'm a Big Boy Now!

Keith's best friend Kyan is potty trained and Keith decided he wanted to go to the potty too. We at started on Friday and spent pretty much all weekend in the garage and outside, just in case we had accidents. Keith is now in big boy pants and tells me when he needs to go to the potty. We are still working on #2, but I hear that one is a little harder. We are so proud of him for being such a big boy!

I asked him to show me his big boy pants and this is what I got. We didn't put any shorts on him all weekend either, it just makes it easier. We looked like true southern rednecks!

Father's Day 2008

We spent Father's Day grilling at Aubrey and Donnie's house. They bought us Norwegian Golf for our birthday and we had a rematch. The boys are now up 2-1, but not for long!

My Mom and nephew Grant came to MN for Keith's birthday and we spent our last day at Como Zoo and Como Town in Minneapolis. Sorry it took me so long to post them!

4 Yrs!!!

On June 5th we were married for 4 years, and what a 4 years it has been. We have lived in 4 different states, and moved 4 times, had a baby and now he is 2, sent Jerry to Iraq and have gone through him getting injured in Iraq. Now, we are living in MN where my high is around 70 degrees, do you hate me yet? We have been in MN for 5 months and we just moved into our new house and I finally feel settled. MN won't be home forever, but it will be for a few years. God is really working in our lives here in MN, and we have no questions on why he moved us here. We are stronger now for what we have been through in our 4 years of marriage, and that is possible through God. Without God as the foundation and center of our marriage, it would have been really hard to make it through the trials we have gone through. We are here, together, and more in love than 4 years ago, even if we are in MN:)

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!

Can you guess by the picture how old Keith is? He is 2! Once he hit his birthday it is like a switched turned! Now my outgoing, will eat anything, and actually listens to what he is told, is the opposite! Now he wants everything and nothing at the same time, will do the opposite of what you ask, and will eat ONLY what he wants when HE wants it!!!! Wow, isn't 2 fun! All jokes aside, He has been a true blessing in our lives and we thank God for him everyday!
