July 4th 2008

We spent our July 4th home in Bainbridge. We grilled at my parent's and then went the fireworks. Everything was perfect except that we didn't have my Dad there. He is hiking the Appalachian Trail, he has about a month left!!!

The fireworks didn't start until 9:30 or so, we spent alot of time on the blankets waiting and trying to keep Keith happy. He did a great job, here he is giving Daddy a hat.
Now, LaLa needs the hat.
My Mom bought glow in the dark bracelets and necklaces for the boys and we hooked them together, this is what it looked like with the flash on.
When I turned off the flash this is what turned out, pretty cool!
Laying with Daddy.

Doing rolls with LaLa to pass the time
It is WAY past his bedtime!

Second wind, he went around and tackled everyone.

Such a big boy now!
This is LaLa's tradition, ever since Grant was born. She hold's the boys during the fireworks, this year Keith needed his ears covered.

Valdosta Trip

We went home for the 4th of July and spent one night in Valdosta where Jerry's brother Ben and his wife live with our little niece Kate.
Here is a picture of Keith and Kate before we went to church. They are only 6 months apart and are really getting along great. Keith is a little rough sometimes, but we are working on not tackling girls!
Playing the Wii

Isn't she just a beautiful little girl?
Like father like son
Kate got a Ballerina outfit from Grandma and once she put it on she didn't want to take it off:)
Playing with Keith's cars!
Grandma and Grandpa, we got them playing the Wii too!

Playing in Kate's room
Uncle Nathan, Uncle Benjamin and Daddy were letting Kate and Keith jump rope. Kate did great and actually "jumped", Keith kind of just "stepped" over it!

Look at that air!

She still has on her outfit!
Reading with Aunt Valerie, and Keith has his foot resting on top my nephew David (Due December)
Just a cute picture of them reading together.

I'm a Big Boy Now!

Keith's best friend Kyan is potty trained and Keith decided he wanted to go to the potty too. We at started on Friday and spent pretty much all weekend in the garage and outside, just in case we had accidents. Keith is now in big boy pants and tells me when he needs to go to the potty. We are still working on #2, but I hear that one is a little harder. We are so proud of him for being such a big boy!
I asked him to show me his big boy pants and this is what I got. We didn't put any shorts on him all weekend either, it just makes it easier. We looked like true southern rednecks!
Hanging out in the garage
We brought his potty in the garage since his ability to hold it wasn't so good yet.
Playing with the sand that fell out of the sandbox.
He likes to go out in the dirt and throw any and all rocks he can find. I just liked this picture of his big boy pants and his little booty!

Father's Day 2008

We spent Father's Day grilling at Aubrey and Donnie's house. They bought us Norwegian Golf for our birthday and we had a rematch. The boys are now up 2-1, but not for long!
Daddy and Keith, Thanks for being such an amazing Daddy!

Como Zoo

My Mom and nephew Grant came to MN for Keith's birthday and we spent our last day at Como Zoo and Como Town in Minneapolis. Sorry it took me so long to post them!
Smiling for the camera
Getting Keith and Grant to smile at the same time is quite the challenge!

Looking at the lions

He is such a big boy now!

He LOVES trains!
The best picture I got of the two of them.

Grant was a great big cousin riding the little rides with Keith!

He was so tired!
Grant waited patiently, but no butterflies landed on him!
