My Dad left for the Appalachian Trail on this past Sunday. This has been his dream for YEARS to hike the whole trail. He will be gone for about 6 months in order to finish the whole trail. We are excited for him that his able to do this, but we will greatly miss him:(

My Dad is going to Hike 2,108.5 miles to Maine!!! Go DAD!
It started to rain so we went up to the shelter where Daddy stayed that night. It was great to be able to see what a shelter looks like, and it gave Keith more time with PaPa.
This was PaPa's "night night", when I would ask Keith where PaPa was he would say "night night"

Wow, that is really amazing! We are in awe of your dad, the mountain man without a beard (or hair, for that matter)! And to save time, I'll go ahead and say it looks like ya'll had a great couple of days about that time, too! How wonderful for Keith to have such a great extended family that loves him. It warms my heart!
